In full transparency, 2020 was rough for the platform as a small two-person team. As many online creators are struggling and looking to reduce their expenses, many have decided to not offer courses, others have returned to full-time jobs, while others have simply moved to more robust platforms.

With this in mind, we made the strategic decision to pivot our focus and disabled new customer sign-ups at the beginning of 2021.

In the longer term, we'll be shutting down Doki.io on January 1st, 2022.

Until this time, we'll continue to support existing customers and will be doing bugfixes and security upgrades, but we will not be adding any new features to the platform.

We're working on an export tool to make it easier for you to move your content to other technology/platforms as needed (we happen to think Thinkific or Teachable are the best long-term bets at the moment). We'll be adding a self-cancellation button in the app soon as well, but please contact us if you wish to shut down your account sooner.

I am sorry if this is disappointing news; we know this will be hard for some of our long-time customers, so please let us know if we can do anything to help.

Thank you for helping us bring life to Doki since 2014.

Regards,

Ben & Marie
